"I have a passion for designing and creating boxes. The process of visualizing what the box will be used for, selecting the wood, building, finishing, and even applying the final coat of hand-rubbed wax, brings me great joy. Rather than relying on computers, I use traditional woodshop tools such as a table saw, router, bandsaw, and chisels. As a one-person operation, I make everything in my shop, except for hardware like hinges, clasps, and clock movements. I love what I do and feel privileged to work in my shop every day."
