TEXTURED TOTE BAG
Made in a Midnight blue and black toned textured fabric – It is quite interesting how the colors go back and forth in different lights – It has 2 large pockets on the front – They are topped with a flap that closes with a hook and loop tape and accented with vintage brass buttons that were made in Czechoslovakia (marked)
The purse and pockets are lined with a navy blue silky polyester fabric
The straps are made from a vintage embroidered belt (cool!)
The bag is 17” wide x 12” tall – The base is 5” wide
The pockets are 5 ½” x 7 1/2”
The straps are 22” long with a 10” drop
Care: can be hand or machine washed in cold and hung to dry

Meet the Maker
I am a mom of 2 and Grandma to 3 precocious little ones! I have crafted my entire life (Thanks, MOM!) and worked the last 16 years in a Tailoring Shop. Now that I am retired, it is time to share my stash of "creations". I sew, knit, crochet and embroider mostly, although I have dabbled in painting some wood crafts and am attempting some jewelry creations. I am an active "scavenger" for vintage fabric, trims, buttons, beads, buckles, baubles and other odd items to use in my creations. Because of this, I rarely make the same item twice the same way. I feel this ensures a type of personalization for each unique customer!

How it’s Made
I have had this fabric for quite a few years, wondering what to make with it. This tote was perfect! And then found the embroidered belt for the straps.
