Meet the Maker
Sue is an artist living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of SW Virginia, Salem to be exact. She has painted most of her life and hopes to be painting when she passes. She has dabbled in all the mediums and currently enjoys collage. Preferring to stay indoors, since the heat has gotten so bad, in the autumn or spring she still enjoys plein aire painting.
How it’s Made
I have my studio in an old cinderblock building that my father used for his wood working hobby or car maintenance. NO heat or AC, but I don't have to pack up my supplies every night, I can leave everything out, usually in a mess.
I use professional archival acrylics and professional varnish.
