An acrylic painting of a mountain with wildflowers on a wood round 6.5 inches in diameter. This piece is influenced a by the look of art nouveau and arts and crafts, but with the contemporary flare of shiny resin!
I live just a couple hours from epic Mt. Rainier- and I've also climbed all 14,441 feet of it, so it shows up in my art frequently.
Tabletop stand included.
I individually paint each one free hand, so it might vary slightly. It will have all of the same colors and components that you see here.

Meet the Maker
I can't stop making things and experimenting with all different mediums! I especially enjoy putting together materials I haven't seen used together before.
My process satisfies my desire to both create and invent.
(This shows up in my cooking, too, and not always with great results...)
How it’s Made
All designs are my original creations based on something meaningful to me. I paint the base painting on the sanded wood round. Then, I carefully add resin and let that set- up- praying for no pesky bubbles or cat hair. (Tuxedo cat, Coho, is not often allowed in the studio but you know what cats are like when they discover they aren't allowed somewhere.....)
Once the shiny surface is just right, I paint on the final details and highlights on top, which gives a funky dimensional look.
This artwork came into my repertoire after I made my favorite Christmas ornament (a small version of this) just after Christmas. I had to figure out a way to share it before, you know, next Christmas, so here it is!!!
