Cute mini baskets made from a vintage blue and white check quilt. The lining and handles are made from a vintage tablecloth. The small but mighty baskets would make a sweet easter display or gift basket. For every day, it could be filled with your favorite things. The simple blue and white checks are perfect for any decor. The bottom is waxed canvas for added structure. A bit of history - the quilt was made by a friend's mom a long time ago and the tablecloth had belonged to a sweet, local lady who lived to be almost 101 years old! Both quilt and tablecloth were used and loved.

Meet the Maker
Hello! Welcome to my shop! My mom taught me to sew in the early 80's. I made a lot of my clothes back then. By the mid-90s, I realized I had a love of vintage and antique things. I found ways to use repurpose the "junk" as decor. In 2019, I started buying and reselling vintage finds and hand painted furniture. In July of 2024, I made a hard right turn and started collecting cutter quilts, old grain and feed sacks and other vintage material, then hauled out the sewing machine and went to work. I am a repurposer at heart. I love turning what is no longer serviceable as it is, into something pretty and useful.
I live in rural SE Ohio, part of the Appalachians. I love living almost in the middle of nowhere and being able to say, "I have to run to town". I enjoy hitting flea markets and estate sales with my husband, spending time in the garden and behind the camera, and hanging with my fur kids.
