This geometric bib necklace is an eye catcher. The bib is hand assembled from 200 little bar links into a fine grid that drapes with ease and makes a statement without weighing you down.
I offer this necklace in 7 colors: silver, chrome, yellow gold, rose gold, gunmetal, antique copper and bronze. Those are just colors, not the types of metal the necklace is made of. The material here is lead and nickel free base metal alloy. Rose gold is not too "rosy", it's just a little more blush and mellow than the sunny yellow gold color. Silver is a very light gray color, chrome is a bit darker, gunmetal is almost black. All colors are shown in the photos.
DIMENSIONS: The "bib" is 8" (20.3 cm) long down the center line and 4.25" (10.8 cm) wide.
You'll have to select the top length of the necklace based on the size of your neck and the types of collars you plan to wear the necklace with. To figure out the length you need you can use the measuring tape, or an existing necklace that fits you well. If you're not sure what length you need you can opt for one of the clasps that come with a 2" extension chain (swivel or lobster claw). The necklace shown in the photos is 19" long.
I offer 4 CLASP OPTIONS. Each of them have their pros and cons.
The TOGGLE clasp is simple and elegant but doesn't come with a chain extension, so you have to be sure the length you select is just right.
The spherical MAGNETIC clasp looks sleek and modern. And it's easy to handle. The magnet is pretty strong, you don't have to worry about losing the necklace. But there will be no extension chain if you pick this option either.
The LOBSTER CLAW and the SWIVEL clasps both come with a 2" extension chain (in addition to the length of your choice). This could come in handy if you're not sure what length you need or if you want some wiggle room to accommodate various neck lines and collars.
The LOBSTER CLAW clasp is neat and small but if you get the chain noticeably twisted while fastening it, you'll have to re-do it or put up with an unattractively twisted chain.
The SWIVEL clasp is a little chunky. I personally don't find it unattractive, but tastes differ. However, since it rotates at its base, you don't have to worry about a twisted chain - the clasp will adjust itself.

How it’s Made
This is my own design, hand assembled from ready-made parts. I use the hardest jump rings I could find, to make sure they hold the intricate bib together.
