Vibrant Color Cascade is a handmade, abstract painting, created with mixed media elements. The painting features a layered, textured composition of bright blue, green, pink, and purple hues. There are numerous circular patterns, some consisting of solid dots, while others are patterned. Black, irregular lines and splatters traverse the painting, adding a sense of movement and dynamism. The background is predominantly white, allowing the vivid colors and bold patterns to pop. The painting is framed in a simple, black frame which contrasts with the vibrant artwork.

Meet the Maker
My name is Camille Goscicki, and I'm from Sterling Heights, Michigan (Metro Detroit area). When I retired in 2021, I wasn't sure what to do with the next chapter in my life. As I sat on the couch, attempting to watch daytime television, I had a revelation. A few revelations, actually. One: I hate daytime television. Two: Napping is overrated. Three: Eureka! I needed to stir up my brain cells and I couldn't do that just sitting around!
Flashback to my childhood: I loved to draw and paint. I was no child genius, mind you. But it was a fun pastime. Eureka! I thought to myself. I'll take art lessons! And that, my friends, is why I'm here today, and my hands are often colorful, along with my clothes.
After stuttering along for awhile, I finally discovered that I love creating with acrylic paints (and other media, such as India inks, acrylic inks, and spray inks). That has been my focus for the last 18 months. It's been wonderful, (and challenging) to learn new skills and find my own voice. Other than art, i enjoy reading, exercising for brain and body fitness and discovering new music through Spotify.
I live with my husband of 39 years, and we have an adult married daughter who lives in Frankfurt, Germany with her husband and our grand-cat, Rocky.
How it’s Made
I created this piece on an 11x14" canvas panel, starting with patches of Payne's Gray in the background. I muted those patches with 2 layers of washy white acrylic paint. I added a layer of shimmery gray acrylic paint, mixed with a little white. I used Turquoise and Violet acrylic ink for the midground, adding lines of ink, then spreading with a palette knife and catalyst. I added the transparent collage pieces with gloss medium. I used acrylic paint to add the stenciling, along with some marks with Posca pens. Finally, I added lines and swirls of black acrylic ink and splatters of shimmery silver paint.

It will take 1 to 3 business days for me to pack and ship your purchase (drop off at UPS) UPS Ground shipping takes 1 to 5 days to deliver to your residence. The package will be shipped to the name and address indicated on the order.

If you decide you don't want the purchased artwork, you have seven (7) business days from the date of delivery to return the item back to me in original condition and I’ll be happy to provide a full refund.

Paintings on canvas panels come framed in black frames, without a glass covering
Paintings on watercolor or acrylic paper come framed in a simple black frame, with 2" matting.
