Mixed Media Vintage Style Recipe Book! Limited edition. I will not be making any more of these kinds of recipe books. So, get it while you can.
Book size is 6 inches by 4 1/4. The book has 5 sections, with 3 pages in each section. Pages have pockets and belly bands where you can put your own recipes. Each pocket has tags and papers to add more recipes. The Book spine has 3 metal rings that you can open and add or remove pages. Charms and lace were added for a complete look. It can be used as an actual recipe book or just a decorative piece of vintage art.
Care: Clean with a soft clean dry cloth.

How it’s Made

Here is the process.
Design: I start with planning and designing the book. I have to measure and choose the designs and or combination of elements that I want to use in the book. After that, I will choose my papers and embellishments and move to cutting.
Cutting: I have to first cut paper for the actual book. After that, I will cut paper for each of the pages, pockets, and other elements of the book and move to distressing and inking my edges.
Distress: I will distress my edges with the special tool that I have and ink them to give them a vintage and old appearance. Then I will move to gluing.
Gluing: Now I glue all my distressed and inked-edged papers to the book pages. Arranging the pockets and tuck spots for the extra recipe add-ons. After I let everything dry I will move to embellishments.
Embellishments: The last step is embellishing the book. This is my favorite step, I can be even more creative and choose my charms and elements that will compliment the recipe book.
