This one of a kind fashion doll wedding dress is made from a white/ivory sparkly cotton fabric and is completely lined. Strapless and made in the mermaid style, this dress combines fairytale princess with modern chic. Where the dress begins to flare out, it features two graduating skirt tiers that dip down in back to create a "tail" or train. Between the two fabric layers, is a double layer of gathered sparkly tulle. This tulle is repeated as the very bottom layer of the combined tiered skirt. Silver braiding has been handstitched along the neckline at the base where the bodice and skirt connect, as well as along the outer edges of both the skirt tiers. Metal snaps secure the dress.
The chapel length veil, made from a soft white tulle, is a simple one layer that can be worn either on top of the head as a traditional veil or under a bun for a more modern interpretation. The sparkly headpiece is made from an ornate, white trim attached to elastic. The same silver braid from the dress and fifteen silver gem stones adorn the headpiece, providing sparkle.
The bouquet is made up of 12 silver and dusty purple silk rosettes with seed pearls and silver gemstones, adding sparkle. Sparkly tulle sprinkled with silver glitter, acts as a flower wrapper on the bottom, while the stems have been wrapped in white satin ribbon. An elastic on the stems provides an easy way for your doll to hold the bouquet.

This dress fits 11.5" Fashion Dolls/1:6 scale dolls/play scale dolls (fits best on a doll that is either articulated or can raise its arms to the sides and ones with standard or narrow hips; some dresses may fit wider hipped dolls depending on style; please contact if not sure) and are created to hold up to much use. All our doll dresses are made, not only with style and beauty in mind, but durability as well. The bodices are lined, and all seams are finished with multiple zig-zag stitching.
Care Instructions: For removing dust and small particles from the dress and veil use some packing taped rolled up, sticky side out, and gently dab at the dust and particles to carefully remove them. For small dirt spots use a clean wash cloth or rag and rub the spot out with lukewarm soapy water. Iron dress on low setting if desired, watching out for lace, tulle, and trims that might melt.

Hello, and welcome to Yankee Doodle Darlings! We are a family of sisters that enjoy creating all types of things. Sewing, art, design, and anything that strikes our fancy! We grew up watching our mom sew and create items to decorate our house, and I guess you could say we caught the creative bug! It started out when we were little, making more dresses for our paper dolls (they never had enough!), and over the years it has landed us here.
How it’s Made
All our dresses are handmade by us using quality materials, and old fashioned industry, labor, and skill. ALL our fashion doll clothes have lined bodices unless specified and ALL our fashion doll clothes have finished seams either by multiple zigzagging or by enclosure; depending on the fabric and dress style, the skirts of our doll dresses are also often lined or have an attached petticoat (see individual listings). We strive to create fashion doll clothes that are so realistic and beautiful that our customers wish they themselves could wear the dress and yet durable enough that they become a family heirloom handed down to future generations. A Yankee Doodle Darlings fashion doll dress is designed to fit like a glove yet be easy to put on and take off. We try to sewn on all the little details such as buttons, beads, and trims for durability but at times must use a durable glue (see individual listings).

We understand that buying clothing online can be a risk, which is why we allow returns on clothing. Please see below for particulars.

We do not do exchanges. For clothing, if you realize the size you ordered is too small or too big, we suggest returning the item for a refund and reordering in the correct size.
