About this Product

Wearing beanies can be so boring! Playing dress up is ALWAYS fun. We have several different-styled monster beanies. Wearing beanies is more fun when you can be a silly crazy monster.

Design A

Currently, we have one beanie in stock available it fits most children months to 2 years, but it can be ordered in different colors and sizes.

This design features a huge central stuffed eye and two small stuffed horns; so there's no need to worry about little monsters deciding to head-butt or attack. The beanie is machine washable on cold, hang to dry, or tumble dry low.

Design B

Monster Design B has so much potential. What is it a witchy ogre, a green goblin witch, perhaps it is an alien playing dress up? This whimsical, silly, beanie is perfect for being playful.

The funky little ears and hat are soft so they won't hurt crazy mini dress-up monsters. This beanie is currently available in 6-18 months, it may stretch to fit a slightly older toddler, but this version doesn't have quite as much stretch as most of our beanies. It can be order in the size and colors of your choice. Machine wash cold, hang to dry, tumble dry low.

Design C

The inspiration can come from anywhere, a song, a kids TV show, a storybook. This beanie is one of a series I came up with while hanging out with my kids.

It features a soft sparkly horn stuffed with fiberfill to keep it safe and a giant silly eye. The current beanie fits most 6 month-2-year-olds. It can be ordered in different colors and sizes, the golden yellow shimmer yarn in the horn has been discontinued, but at the moment, I have a decent supply available.

It is machine washable cold, hang to dry, or tumble dry low.

Design D

This beanie has two crocheted eyes on the top-spaced a couple of inches apart. The eyes have a backside that matches the main beanie color. Although it is green it can be ordered in other sizes and colors. Is it a frog, an alien, or a monster? The choices are only limited by your imagination.

It is machine washable cold, hang to dry, or tumble dry low.

Design E

Is this a crazy monster? A sleepy monster or alien? It's up to you to decide. Be creative!

This design is the only one that features safety eyes and as a result, requires a little more supervision when being played with. It features two offset eyes sitting side by side on the top. It can be ordered in other colors and sizes.

It is machine washable cold, hang to dry, or tumble dry low.

Crafting Traditions

Oregon City, OR
Welcome to our first official storefront! For those of you who know us as Crafting Traditions By Melinda, you have reached the right place. Now that my daughter has officially joined the business, we are rebranding slightly as Crafting Traditions! We are a family-owned and operated business. Many of our pieces are one-of-a-kind because we do our best to use materials that would otherwise be discarded. We use discontinued, out-of-stock, vintage yarn and fabric as much as possible. Our goal is not only to give old traditions and crafting styles a new life but also to use as much of our materials as possible. If we can prevent waste, keep something from ending up in a landfill or being discarded, we will. This means that many pieces are unique.

Shop Policies

Please understand that many of our pieces are one of a kind. We are often sourcing materials that are out of stock, discontinued or considered antique. We do our best to reduce waste and prevent perfectly usable items from ending up in landfills, unfortunately that often means that we are unable to make exact copies of pieces. The materials to make a second version may not be available, but we will do our best. If there is a specific piece in a certain color or style message us and we will do our best. Our products are not mass produced, each piece is individually made, so please understand that order completion times are based on the time it takes to make your piece and how many orders we have in front of you.

If an item is listed with photos, that means it is completed and available.

Please remember the following: Returns are not accepted for special orders. If a product arrives damaged, please get in touch with us immediately and provide photos. We will make every effort to replace or substitute items when possible. However, due to the nature of our materials, this may not always be an option. Many of our pieces are one-of-a-kind because the materials are out of stock, discontinued, vintage, or from a unique dye lot. This means that exact copies are not always possible.
