The power of words has been a fascination of mine since I began reading as a child. There is no doubt that words have an ability to make people feel something, inspire them to great heights, or lower them to the depths of despair. Years ago, I lost my ability to interact with the world. I effectively silenced myself and kept to my home, too afraid to leave or speak. It took more than a little time, more than a little help, to overcome this fear I had.
I created my first Visible Voice bracelet as a reminder that I was capable of overcoming my fear. The first word I wore was "Breathe", a gentle yet constant reminder that I could get through my fear if I just took a moment to breathe and calm myself. As I came out of my shell, conquered my fear, and began to experience the world again, more words followed. "I am courageous" and "I am daring", a new word or phrase, a new bracelet for each new phase of life I found myself in.
Visibly Wicked was born out of my love of words, and my need for a reminder. I hoped to encourage others to "be brave" or "Be kind". The messages are all personal, but at the core of it all, words are what prevail.
Shop Policies
SHIPPING POLICY:
Domestic Shipping is sent by First Class bubble mailer up to 3 days after your purchase is made. For custom work, please allow 7–10 days for your item to be made and shipped. I am not responsible for any delays after your package has arrived at the post office. If your item has been marked as "delivered" but you have not received your package, please file a 'Lost Package' claim with your local Post Office. If this has not resolved the issue after 48 hours, please contact me, and I will do what I can to help you recover your package.
RETURN POLICY:
Due to the 'made to order' nature of our items, there will be a 20% (of the purchase price) restocking fee for any accepted returns. Shipping charges are non-refundable. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items that are sent back to us.
EARRINGS: Due to health and safety reasons, earrings cannot be returned unless the item arrives broken on delivery. (See Below)
Custom Orders: There will be no refunds given for custom orders unless the items arrive broken on delivery. (See Below)
All other Jewelry: Refunds and exchanges are only offered if the items arrive broken on delivery (See Below)
BROKEN ON DELIVERY:
* In the event your jewelry arrives broken, please take a photograph of the package and its contents and contact me within 48 hours of receipt so I may issue a refund, repair, or replacement.
Custom Orders:
Cancellations: Any cancellations for your custom order must be done within 24 hours of purchase
Refunds: As stated above, there are no refunds given for custom orders unless the items arrive broken on delivery. (see Broken on Delivery for instructions)
