Welcome to Jackrabbit Crystals! I'm Jacqueline, a passionate handmade jewelry maker who discovered my love for creating sparkling beauty just over two years ago. My brand takes inspiration from the golden landscape of Placer County in Northern California, where I live. Additionally, it's a play on words, incorporating a nod to my own name and the native wildlife right in my back yard.
As a stay-at-home mom, my journey into the world of jewelry making has been nothing short of amazing. In this short span, I've been able to achieve remarkable success from selling my jewelry online. This achievement means the world to me and has surpassed my initial goal of just one order a week. Looking ahead, my goal is to invest in the necessary machinery and tools to create the cabochons and faceted gemstone as well as shape and solder precious metals to use in the jewelry I make that I can showcase online and at local handmade markets.
Beyond crafting jewelry, I'm an active member and dedicated volunteer in my local gem and mineral society. It's a wonderful community where we share our knowledge and experiences in the arts and science of this fascinating world. Through my membership, I've been learning various skills like lapidary, silversmithing, casting, and faceting, broadening my expertise and nurturing my passion.

How it’s Made
Crafted with patience and precision, each ring is a testament to the lapidary art of handcrafted wire wrapped jewelry. As an artisan, I take pride in transforming gemstones and gold into wearable pieces of nature's wonder.
The process begins as I shape a single wire into a smooth, round ring band, carefully sizing it on a mandrel. Precision is key, ensuring a comfortable fit for the wearer. Once sized, I cut the wire to form the foundation of the ring then delicately create eye loops at the ends of the wire. These loops not only hold the gemstone securely but also add a touch of dainty elegance.
With a carefully selected gemstone, I thread a thinner wire through the bead. The ends of this wire are then threaded through the eye loops of the ring band. This process allows the natural beauty of the gemstone to take center stage and shine through.
With the gemstone nestled within the ring band, I begin wrapping the thin wire around the band. Precision comes into play again as I cut and secure the thin wire, ensuring the wrap is not only beautiful but also comfortable with no sharp ends.
The final touch involves fine-tuning every detail, ensuring that the wire is snug, the stone is centered, and the overall aesthetic is harmonious. The end result is a unique piece that captures the essence of the gemstone's character and the craftsmanship that goes into its creation.

Secured Payment: Your payment information is handled securely through Stripe. No customer credit or debit card information is received or stored by Jackrabbit Crystals.
PROCESSING POLICY
Processing Time: Each piece of handmade jewelry is crafted with patience and care. Please allow 1 - 3 business days for your order to be processed before shipment.
CUSTOM ORDERS
Customization Process: When you request a custom order, Jackrabbit Crystals will work closely with you during the consultation to understand your specifications, including materials, design, and size. Open communication will be maintained throughout the customization process, providing updates on the progress of your order.
Approval and Payment: Custom orders may incur additional costs, depending on the complexity and materials involved, and a clear quote and estimated timeline will be provided. Once the customization details are finalized, your approval is required. Full payment must be made upfront and custom orders are non-refundable.
CANCELLATIONS POLICY
Cancellations: It is understandable that circumstances may change or an accident has occurred, and you may need to cancel your order. However, please note that once the next business day begins, it may be uncertain whether the jewelry has started its crafting process and preparing your order for shipment. In such cases, cancellations cannot be guaranteed without further assessment.
Within 2 Hours of Purchase: We readily accept cancellations made within 2 hours of your purchase, no questions asked.
Outside Business Hours: If your purchase is made outside our business hours, you have until the next business day's start to cancel without inquiry.
Custom Orders: Due to the unique nature of these creations, custom orders cannot be canceled once your required approval has been submitted. If you wish to cancel a custom order, please do so prior to submitting your required approved.
SHIPPING POLICY
Free Shipping: Jackrabbit Crystals is pleased to offer free shipping on all orders shipped from California using USPS Ground Advantage by utilizing the Shippo integration for efficient and reliable shipping services.
Lost or Damaged Orders: In the unfortunate event that your order is lost or damaged while in the custody of USPS, Jackrabbit Crystals is here to assist you and will work diligently to resolve the issue.
Missing or Stolen Packages: If your package is marked as delivered but is missing or stolen, contact your local USPS office immediately within 30 days of the marked delivery date to report the issue and initiate an investigation. If needed, I will provide you with any necessary order information to assist with the USPS investigation. Jackrabbit Crystals is unable to replace or refund orders in these situations but will support you through the USPS claims process to the best of our ability.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES POLICY

Resizing: Jackrabbit Crystals offers one complimentary resizing service to ensure that your ring fits perfectly. However, please note that customers are responsible for securely packaging and covering the shipping costs associated with resizing requests.
Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for securely packaging returns or exchanges, unless the item received is defective. It's understandable that shipping can be a new experience for some customers. Jackrabbit Crystals is here to assist you in understanding how to securely package and ship your items. PACKAGING
Gift Packaging: Your jewelry will be attached to a jewelry card and placed inside a handmade gold shimmer envelope. For an additional touch, the envelope will be housed in a sheer organza bag, suitable for gifting. Personalized messages as a gift option are not available.
Jewelry Care: Complementary to your order, you will receive a gold-filled jewelry care card and a lint-free cleaning cloth
Shipping Safety: To ensure the safe delivery of your purchase, the entire gift packaging is encased within a small box and then securely enclosed in a poly bubble padded mailer.
Multiple Item Orders: To reduce environmental impact and streamline shipping, we will combine multiple item orders into a single envelope, accommodating up to three items unless you specify otherwise. JEWELRY CARE
Care Instructions: To ensure the longevity of your jewelry: Store it in a cool and dry place, clean your jewelry using a lint-free cloth, allow perfumes and lotions to dry before wearing your jewelry, avoid exposing your jewelry to harsh chemicals, wipe clean after engaging in any physical exercise, and remove your jewelry before sleeping to minimize prolong exposure to sweating.
Complimentary Care: Included in your order, you will be supplied a gold-filled jewelry care card and a lint-free cleaning cloth.
RING SIZE
Instructions: Wrap a length of floss around the base of your finger. Mark the floss with a pen at your ends. Stretch the floss along a ruler and take it down in millimeters. Use the ring size chart available on the images to pick the closest measurement on the ring size chart.
