A handmade gift for mothers, with a baby duckling good for a baby boy or girl. One half will show the mom duck with the shadow of the son or daughter, and the other half will be the young ducky with the shadow of the mom. The picture is of an older silver quarter, but we usually use modern quarters or newer silver, or state silver quarters. They are hand cut from the same coin and both sides fit perfectly together like a puzzle. This is a unique gift unites couples or friends. Its fun because when you wear them you have to be close to put the two sides together and it reminds you of each other when apart. We have cut everything by hand!

How it’s Made
All our work is cut by hand with a jewelers saw. First we take our ideas to our designer, then decide on the final draft. Then we drill holes into the coin. We run our saw blade through the hole, clamp the coin and cut away all by hand! We do not use cutting machines of any kind.
