About this Product
I hand paint all the boxes, so what you see here is the painted version. The unpainted one is basically the raw box for those that want to paint it their own custom colors.
The sizing for this box is for about 100 Single Sleeved MTG Cards

How I Made This
I love designing things and this was so exciting for me to do! I modeled this in a 3D program called Cinema4D. I made this in three pieces so that it would close nice and snug cards held securely inside.
After I finish the design and print it using a 3d printer in 3 separate pieces. Each one takes 24 hours to print! After they print out, I sand and wash them to a fine texture removing any trace elements of the print. Bear in mind that there may be some imperfections as each print will always be slightly different.
Then the real fun begins and my favorite part! There are 4 layers of paint in each deck box, it takes anywhere from 4-6 hours from start to finish (Longer if I’m watching Futurama!)
Each painting is slightly different so you will never get one that someone else has; variations in paint style and placement make each piece completely unique!
Each box is made to order so expect 3-7 days for your order to ship!
The Bonnie Box
Meet the Maker
So I got into 3d modeling a long time ago because an old friend got me into it. There wasn't much I could do with my skills in the pre-3d printer era, but when I got my first 3d printer, WOW! Now I could actually print out all these crazy awesome ideas I had floating around in my head and actually put all my creative juices to good use!
I wasn't sure what I even wanted to make or focus on, but then a friend of mine asked me to make a card box for him. I'm like, What? Then he showed me the card game Magic The Gathering and I was like - yeah I could get into this. I used to play RPG games with pen and paper in my teen years and I really liked it. He was big into the Cthulhu mythos so I said let me see what I can do. After a couple of weeks of tinkering around, I made my first Cthulu Deck Box.
He went nuts and loved it! He took it to the game shop where he plays and people were like "Where did you get that??" All of a sudden I had 4 people asking to make them one. These take 5 hours to paint and a whole day to even print out! I'm like, ok, well I have to charge now. Then I got requests for other things like game tokens and dice boxes, so now I have a laundry list of things that I'm going to make for the gaming community and I love it.
My friend said, you should open an Etsy store and I'm like what's that? 2 weeks later here I am! I really enjoy making things, especially for fellow gamers, so I'm going to keep making curious things for unique people, this is what I love and I hope I can share it with you.
