Mushrooms have a quiet appeal—earthy, unassuming, and full of possibility. They take on the flavors around them and add substance. I love their texture—especially in soups and sauces. They add texture and depth to a dish, and they’re mild and unassuming on their own. I also love that they’re so accessible—whether grown or foraged, they’re a simple, generous ingredient that anyone can make use of.
This piece is part of my Produce series in oil, a collection that honors the everyday foods that quietly elevate a meal. Mushrooms are humble, but full of character. Their subtle tones and varied forms make them a joy to paint.
Painted on flat (1/8") hardboard, this 6x6" piece is varnished and unframed, ready to add a grounded, organic presence wherever it’s displayed.
Fun facts about mushrooms — They’re low in calories and rich in antioxidants, and many varieties contain compounds that support immune function, brain health, and help regulate blood sugar and inflammation. They’re also one of the few plant-based sources of vitamin D when exposed to sunlight.

I don't accept returns unless the item is defective or the wrong item is sent, but I hope you will contact me if you are not completely satisfied. I would like to see what I can do to resolve the issue and feedback is always helpful. :)

Cancel any time before the item has shipped or, in the case of custom items, before I have placed an order for the materials to make your item.

I collect from you only the information which GoImagine passes along to me. It is only the information needed to ship out your order and I use it only for that purpose.
I am not sure how long GoImagine stores this info in the system, but that is the amount of time I will be able to see it. I will never use it for any reason other than to answer questions for you about your order or to send out your order to you. I do not personally store the information outside of GoImagine at all.
You may contact GoImagine directly with requests to access, correct, or delete your personal info, but should you chose to contact me instead, you can reach me at customerservice@lilyandfigs.com. With the exception of basic shipping address change, I will likely have to contact GoImagine for help in processing your request since I am not storing it personally, myself.
