About this Product

These Native American Style Navajo Rug Earrings are handmade by Kilikina

They are made of Delica seed beads - they measure about 3/4" wide and about 3/4" long (not including the hooks). These measurements are estimated. The beadwork is hand sewn in a smoke free beading studio. The earrings are currently on stainless steel fishhooks. The fishhooks can be changed to posts or clips, if requested. Buyer must request the change by message, before or when placing their order, this so that I can make any changes before I make the earrings, and/or before packing and shipment.

Please note that item colors may be slightly different from the picture, which can be due to many factors. Device screen color variations are the most common cause of color differences, however, bead dye lot variations or bead substitutions if colors happen to become unavailable can sometimes cause a slight difference.

Kilikina's Beadwork

Meet the Maker

Hello, welcome to my shop of handmade jewelry.  My name is Kilikina.  I am also known as Kili, Christie, and C.C.  I own Kilikina's Beadwork and C.C.'s Beadwork.

I started making Native American Style beaded jewelry in December of 1988, but I have always had a special love of beads. I contribute this special love to the First Nation American Indian heritage from my mother's side of our family.  My earliest memories of beading are of watching my great-grandmother, grandmother, and mother making beaded belts.

The beaded items you will find on my site are made by me, one bead at a time.  I also enjoy making other items with various beads such as necklaces, bracelets, etc. Periodically I may list items made by my family members, but I will label them as so.  I design a lot of my own patterns, but others have come from patterns I have purchased, traded, or been gifted by family members, friends or customers.  I strive to produce excellent quality beadwork, and I stand behind my art.  I will repair, free of charge, any item that has a designer flaw on my part.  I also try very hard to keep my prices as low as possible for my customers.  My prices are determined by the jewelry's style, the time used to make the item, the type of materials used and their prices.  This is an art, so no two pieces are exactly the same.  If you see something I have listed, but would like to change it, let me know so I can see what I can do for  you.

I would like to thank all of my customers for their ideas, suggestions, and purchases through the years.  Some of you have been buying my jewelry for many years, a few of you own almost one of everything I have ever made!  To all of my customers, thank you very, very much.  May The Great Spirit bless you.

How it’s Made

I handcraft all of my beaded items in a smoke free beading studio. I enjoy beading and each item I make is made with my love of beading and over 35 years of experience. It's such a blessing to be able to make jewelry that others enjoy wearing and gifting.

Shop Policies

Returns and exchange details

Beaded items are intimate items that can not be sterilized for heath/hygiene reasons. Due to this fact returns, refunds and exchanges are not generally accepted. There are times, however, when certain circumstances may arise which warrant attention to such matters. If you have concerns with a product, please bring them to my attention and they will be reviewed on an "as needed" basis.  I want you to be happy with your purchase and will work with you if I find a concern to be valid. Your shopping experience with me is important and I want it to be as positive and as pleasurable as possible for all of my customers.  I will refund on jewelry only if the item does not match the listing description. Returned items must be undamaged, unused, unworn and in original packaging. Each of my pieces are crafted with special care and attention. I take the time to write an accurate description of each item listed. Please be sure that you take the time to read all the way through the item description for materials used, size, length etc. Please contact me if you have any questions prior to your purchase. All returns have to be approved by me, so please contact me to verify if a return will be accepted. All postage is at the expense of the buyer.

***Buyers Please Note:  Damaged items will only be replaced if they are insured by the buyer by arrangement with me, prior to the time of purchase.  Please contact me before placing your order.

Insured Items only…. If you have concerns about an item that has incurred any damages in shipment, I will request you send a photo and return the item so I can determine the nature of the cause and will work with you accordingly to resolve the issue. If no proof can be provided that an item has been damaged, I will not be able to assist with any refunds or repairs.

Payment

Please Note… Items do not ship until payment(s) have been received, have cleared and are confirmed cleared. Once your payment has cleared, I will process and ship your order usually within 3 normal business days.

Shipping

Shipping Charges... my shop charges current shipping costs for First Class Mail which includes tracking for delivery conformation. Included in my shipping charges, are a small amount for packaging materials and supplies.

***Buyers Please Note: To keep shipping costs low there is no insurance provided or added....if you would like to purchase insurance, please message me before you purchase the item(s) to arrange for added insurance. I package my products very well, however they are fragile and can possibly suffer damage in shipping. Damaged items will only be replaced if they are insured by the buyer, at the time of purchase.

Shipping Price Break... All of my items include a shipping price break for items purchased at the same time, on the same invoice. Items are usually wrapped in foam padding, placed in a small plastic zip lock bag with an invoice, and then placed inside a bubble mailer for shipping. Items usually ship within 3 - 5 business days from purchase and payment clearing (excluding custom orders).

All items are shipped to the address located in the order at the "Ship To" address provided there by you. Please be sure that you have provided the correct shipping information. If you have ordered an item for a gift or other purpose, that will be shipped to a different location, please be sure that you provide me notice of such and the correct address for shipping. Please note that I include a sales order with each order shipped. If your purchase is as a gift, or other purpose, and you prefer that a sales order not be sent with the order please message me and make me aware of such.

If you would like to add insurance to your order, please contact me prior to purchase. USPS charges insurance upon dollar amounts.

I currently only have shipping fees listed for items shipped within the U.S.A. However, I have and will consider shipping outside of the U.S.A. upon special request. Please message me for more information.

Orders are filled and shipped as they are placed, usually within 1 - 3 business days after payment has cleared (not counting weekends or legal holidays). During peak times of the year orders are usually filled and shipped within 3 - 5 business days, (Christmas, Valentines Day, Mother's and Father's Day, etc.) please expect to add an additional few days for processing, as we are typically swamped with orders from local booth events we attend. I attend fairs, craft shows, bazaars, and other types of shows where I sometimes sell out of jewelry and may have to restock. I will advise the buyer if I am waiting on a restock or supply and/or need to make an item they have purchased. Some items may be made when orders are received.

Please note: A delivery tracking number will be provided to buyers when their order is marked complete. This allows for the buyer to track and ensure the delivery of their items. Upon shipment, any issues with delivery is then between the buyer and the USPS.

Additional policies and FAQs

Out of Stock Information: I try to keep all listed items in stock and it's not normal for my jewelry, beads or beading supply items to be out of stock. However, sometimes they may be out with a jobber, consigned to a store, or I may have sold them at a recent show. In this case they will be recalled, ordered or made. Rarely is this an issue, if this does happen, the buyer will be notified that this will delay the shipping for a few days. Some items are made as orders are received. Sometimes "one of kind" items sell while they are at events, stores, or with jobbers. If this happens then I will give you the option to either pick a similar item of equal value, another item of equal value, or a refund of your purchase.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!

Wholesale, custom orders, and bulk order sales will be listed as a custom order in the name of the one whom has made the order. Please feel free to message me with any questions or requests.

Item colors may vary slightly from their picture(s) due to many factors such as the variation of computer screen colors, lighting, material's color dye lot differences, etc.

A BIG Thank you to all of my wonderful customers, take care and may the Great Spirit bless you.
