Orange and yellow: Dyed with coreopsis, marigold, and onion skins. A hint of green gives a beautiful contrast and a subtle reminder that these were indeed once plants. 8 available
Blue and green: Dyed with either a combination blueberries and red onion or rose petals and delphinium. Sold Out
Brown: Dyed with oak leaves, coffee, and cedar, you will receive a one of a kind color; a blend of brown, blacks, and greys. 2 available
Pink/Grey: dyed with avocado pits and skins. Iron mordant creates the design. 1 available

Care Instructions: Taking care of your plant dyed items is very easy. Simply wash on COLD on GENTLE using a MILD DETERGENT. AIR DRY flat or drying rack, use a cool iron if necessary. It is normal for the color to change a bit over time. That’s the joy of nature!
We do our best to show the color of the pieces accurately. The magical qualities are difficult to capture, so please realize that it may look slightly different in person.

Hi, I’m Megan and things are a little quacky here!
Ducks Never Waver started when I was going through severe health issues and one day I saw some ducks swimming in frigid water, doing their thing, just excited to be ducks. I decided I wanted that, maybe not to be a literal duck, but to be creative and have a beauty filled life! I’ve been doing fiber arts since I was 9 and I am still so excited about creating one of a kind pieces! Always keeping comfort and ease in mind, I’ll throw in an nod to ancient crafts, bold color combos, or an eclectic use of materials that make you go “mmmhhmm that’s a bit quacky!”
My hope for my products is that they express the beauty that God has created and show the healing quality of art for the maker and you!
How it’s Made
100% cotton bandanas are first treated with an alum mordant (to make sure the dye stays on the fabric) then is dyed made from plants we grow in our garden. Some variations have a iron mordant painted on to change the dyes color for a cool print.
