Beautiful rare natural Oligoclase (.68ctw, VS, USA) hand set in 925 sterling silver studs. Born in the USA(NC) these natural Oligoclase are full of sparkle and fire, with a hint of soft green.Oligoclase belongs to the plagioclase feldspar family of minerals, which includes sunstone and labradorite. Transparent specimens of oligoclase are rare. Sometimes this material is incorrectly described as transparent amazonite.

I have been a small organic farmer here in Pennsylvania for over 40 yrs, raising sheep, poultry, honey bees, and organic fruits and veggies. I have worked & studied gemstones & jewelry design, as well as being a master chef owning my own restaurant. I was raised learning the "old ways" of making daily living items from my Grandmother using what we grew.
