How it’s Made
Our cold process soap bar is carefully crafted with a blend of nourishing ingredients to provide a gentle and moisturizing cleansing experience. Here's a glimpse into its creation:
We start by blending olive oil, sweet almond oil, coconut oil, and palm oil – a rich combination of natural ingredients that provide moisturizing benefits, gentle cleansing, and a luxurious lather.
Next, we add Shea butter and sal butter, known for their nourishing and protective properties, to help lock in moisture and soothe dry skin.
To enhance the soap's gentle exfoliating properties, we incorporate kaolin clay, which helps to remove impurities and leave skin feeling soft and smooth.
Sodium lactate is added to help create a hard, long-lasting bar that is also gentle on skin.
The ingredients are then carefully measured and mixed together, before being poured into molds. The mixture undergoes a natural chemical reaction called saponification, where the oils and butters transform into a rich, creamy soap.
After carefully removing from the molds, the soap is cut into bars & allowed to set and cure for several weeks, and afterwards is ready to provide a nourishing and gentle cleansing experience.
Shop Policies
Processing Time: Once I receive your order, it will take 1-3 business days, for pre-made items, to pack it up and drop it off at the shipping carrier.
For Made-to-Order items processing may take 3-5 days.
Return Policy: The buyer may return the unopened/unused products within 14 days for a full refund. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Refunds will be issued once the seller has received the item/items and inspected the condition of the returned item/items.
Care Instructions: Handmade soap will last much longer if it is allowed to dry between uses. Storing the soap in a self-draining soap dish keeps it from sitting in puddles of water and will greatly extend its length of use
