Welcome to the beautiful mountains! This mountain scene depicting a cute black felted wool bear is the perfect addition to your cabin or Adirondack decor. Crafted with intricate detail on a base of wormy chestnut, this sculpture includes real wood with bark sign posts and three needle felted trees with real branch trunks and is the epitome of Folk Art.
The 4” long x 2 1/2” high bear is removable and posable and has tiny glass eyes. It’s made from beautiful shiny black wool. This piece will surely be a conversation piece.
The hand painted (by artist Diane Devito at DLD Art) wood "Welcome to the Mountains" sign adds a rustic touch to this charming collectible. Also available (see last photo) is a “Welcome” sign for those who don’t live in the mountains. Let me know, after you order, which sign you would prefer. The opposite side of all the signs is painted with chalk board paint for your own message (will have to turn piece around to show).

I am currently focusing on woodland creatures, birds, farm animals, trees and pets. Please feel free to contact me through my shop. If an item is sold out I do take commissions for that piece. Please note that these pieces are not recommended for very young children or pets but older children and adults will treasure these for years to come.
Shop Policies
Items will be shipped within 3 days after payment is received. Made-to-Order items may take up to 10 days to create and prepare for shipment. Please let me know if you have a deadline for your item ahead of time. Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt with advanced approval by seller and must be returned in original packaging at buyers expense.
