The "Nordic Creatures: Nidhoggr Dragon" coin is carefully antiqued and finished by hand, and delivered in a heavy plastic protective coin capsule case. Features a Nidhoggr Dragon in a cave on the obverse, and Yggdrasil, the World Tree alongside "1 oz AVDP .999 Copper" on the reverse.
Made of 1 AVDP oz .999 pure copper, the coin will naturally patina and darken further over time, especially if directly handled.

Meet the Maker
Handcrafted coin rings & pendants began as a hobby and quickly became an obsession. From the punches and dies, to annealing and forging, to polishing and antiquing – the process drew me in.
There were a lot of things I like making that custom tools and jigs could help with, so I started designing and making jigs, and then decided to make them available to other makers.
Coins inherently have their own story – their own history. For generations, they’ve been carried, collected, passed down, exchanged and traveled.
Turning coins into jewelry allows us to become part of that story – they travel with us. Whether keepsakes, anniversaries, birthdays, or surprises, the story continues.
Early forms of currency were bits and shapes of silver, they were “UnMinted“ coins. Over the years, they became individualized to people and groups who developed and standardized them.
I like to think that, in a way, we’re going back to the roots.

How it’s Made
I carefully clean the coins of dirt and oils, then antique them by hand using a high-grade gel patina. Once antiqued to a solid dark finish, I hand polish them, and use 0000 steel wool to carefully bring out the highlights. The coins are then placed inside heavy protective plastic cases, ready to place on display in your collection.
