Hello and welcome to my corner of Go Imagine!
After my crisis counselor shifts, I always looked for ways to decompress after my shifts. I found fluid art painting through YouTube and it brought a sense of ease and calm so I could fall asleep. I started dabbling in this art last summer and it has been so fulfilling and joyful, such a release. Friends and family know how important mental health awareness is to me and I wanted to share that through my art. If I can bring joy and peace to anyone with this art that playfully flows across the canvas, that fills my soul.

How it’s Made
To create "Oceanic Dreamscape," I used the acrylic pour technique, specifically the flip cup pour method. I carefully selected a palette of blues, greens, and white to capture the essence of the ocean. I layered these colors into a cup, then swiftly flipped it onto the canvas. As I lifted the cup, the paints began to flow and interact, creating organic cell-like patterns reminiscent of underwater bubbles. To enhance the movement and depth, I gently spun and tilted the canvas, allowing the colors to spread and form intricate, fluid shapes. The result is a dynamic and captivating piece that evokes the serene beauty of the ocean.
