How it’s Made
We select the best section of the birch, paint it with 2 coats of Navy paint and layout on cnc
Then we run cnc to carve in all the numerals, waves, circles and the submarine
We flip to the backside and carve in the pocket for the mechanism to sit and any requested personalization
Next, the submarine body is carefully painted in
The Hands are cut from brass sheet on the cnc.
The brass edging is applied to the outer edge and banding protection applied to backside of banding
the mechanism and hands are then installed and after a day or two depending on humidity, we can then package and ship out
