Choose your head size from the pull down above. If you’re in between sizes please choose the next size up.
✨✨To measure your head for a proper fit take a soft measuring tape, starting from above your eyebrows going around to the widest part of the back of your head and back to the front again. Place one finger under the tape measure for a comfortable fit and that is your head size.
All my hats are personally handmade, hand crocheted double skein using the finest merino and Shetland wool yarns, then felted down to size and desired fabric like texture. Placed on a form to dry and steam pressed, then sprayed with a stiffening agent and steamed ironed to help hold their shape beautifully for years to come. It's really quite a process and worth their work for they will keep you warm and fashion pretty! My felted hats are soft and cozy, yet hold their shape beautifully for years, water resistant, and very warm for those Fall and Winter months.
Wool's natural fibers are naturally antibacterial and self-cleaning, and have breathing properties that help regulate our body temperature, whether we’re feeling hot or cold. Wool has a tremendous capacity to absorb vapor – up to 30% of its own weight before it feels damp or wet. In other words, wool also keeps you warm even when wet!
Thanks for stopping by and please do come again soon!

Meet the Maker
Welcome to my Shop! My little world of creativity and fun where colors and textures collide and style is everything! I've been creating my felted hats for more than 2 decades now and the joy it gives me keeps me going and growing. It didn't take long to fall in love with felting and crocheting has been a love for over 50 years now. The felting process and crochet patterns are my own personal creations, that I enjoy expanding on each year with new ideas and styles that are fashion forward, for all ages, and lifestyles.
Born and raised in New England I was always on the lookout for winter hats that had warmth without sacrificing city style or give my hairstyle an undesirable look. I was actually asked by a customer I that had back in the day when I was designing and making wearable art pieces, if I also make hats. Well it's just a hat I thought, how hard can that be??? And that's how my journey started and over 20 years ago and I have evolved my craft absolutely loving every step of the way! And it's ongoing!
My Shop's name comes from my deep love of Crystals and Angels And Joy is my middle name, and what I would like everyone to feel when they wear my creations. And of course I like to think of myself as fancy so naturally I decided to change the C to a K at the beginning, because, well, it's just more suiting I felt!
If there is anything I can do for you while browsing my shop please do not hesitate to contact me no matter how big or small. Custom made and new styles are what fuels me and seems to be the main drive of my business.
Blessings to you all!
How it’s Made
My hats are hand crocheted first using top quality wool yarns from my personally created and private patterns.
Then are felted using my own perfected technique that I've used for over the past 20+ years to create my felted hats.
Designed to be warm in the coldest weather yet be stylish and fun with an added plus that the way they are made will not create hat hair. Can be worn snowy or rainy days, keeping you dry as the wool repels moisture. Place in a safe area to dry easily, shaping it to make sure your hat dries perfectly and maintains it shape once dried.
They will hold their shape indefinitely, have a soft feel and some weight to them yet will not fly off your head in the windiest of days, and firm enough and be versatile to shape the brim as you wish for the day.
