I use Sodium cocoyl isethionate (SCI), a gentle surfactant, in my whipped soaps. SCI is derived from coconut oil fatty acids and isethionic acid. SCI is BIODEGRADABLE and an excellent cleansing agent which helps create a rich lather to cleanse the skin while also hydrating it. I chose SCI because it is gentle but so effective!
INGREDIENTS: Sugar cane, sodium cocyl isethionate, distilled water, cocamidopropyl betaine, glycerin, organic & fair-trade Shea butter, cocoa butter, organic argan oil, organic castor oil, stearic acid, lotus flower extract, rose powder, pink French clay, fragrance, paraben free preservative, mica & dried rose petals.

Hi! I’m Daniela, the creator of eScentually Yours. My journey began in 2012 after undergoing two strenuous back surgeries. During my recovery, with little to do other than rest and watch TV, I found myself drawn to the world of essential oils and handmade self-care products. What started as curiosity soon turned into passion. As soon as I was well enough, I dedicated myself to studying, taking classes, and self-teaching the art of bath and beauty formulation. By 2013, eScentually Yours was born!
Life took me on a detour in 2017 when another move and a third back surgery required me to step away. But in 2024, eScentually Yours made its return—better, stronger, and more luxurious than ever.
