| Hello There! I've been meaning to get this listed. I had been working on some color focused pieces and this was the big guy of the group. I wanted to do something 'spill front' that featured color. I used turquoise, amber and other brighter stones/beads in this case. I used my vintage Czech. tri-cut glass from the early 1900's for the small 'chain' part of the necklace. (I have a picture of the hank, let me know if you would like to see it) The clasp as well as all the accents are sterling silver. We measure 23 with the option of extending that to 24 inches with the built-in extender. The bottom of the tassel is glued into perfection! I used a trusted glue to glue in each crimp, then, after they dried overnight, I added the crimp covers for a nice finish. We are strung on Softflex brand beading string. A nylon coated stainless steel that is a 26-pound test and is waterproof. I can make a matching bracelet and earrings if you are interested, just let me know! |
