About this Product

Our Orange Cream Handcrafted Vegan Soaps have a light, creamy lather, and leave your skin feeling soft and clean while awakening your senses with a sweet, orange-creamsicle fragrance!! It smells good enough to eat!

You're probably wondering why you should try our Hand Crafted Soap Bars, so let me share a little about them.

  • INGREDIENTS: Saponified Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Olive Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter; Essential Oil, Fragrance Oil, Natural Mica Colorant

  • We use just 6 natural saponified ingredients that offer a light, soft and silky lather and a smooth clean feeling! You can wash from head to toe like my husband; and even shave your legs like me! I haven't purchased or used shaving creams or gels in almost a decade!

  • Each bar is uniquely made in small batches within our small home studio. We hand measure and weigh our ingredients, and follow our hearts when adding color and style. However, we try not to get too fussy, because after all, it's soap! And we want you to use it, rather than put it on a shelf "because it's too pretty to use."

  • WEIGHT: Approximately 4 oz per bar. Due to the handmade/hand cut nature of the product, there may be some slight variations.

  • Our soaps are vegetarian, gluten free, and family friendly! Orange Cream Soap Bar is VEGAN!

  • Orange Cream Soap Bar contains a Fragrance Oil.

  • Please test our product on a small area, such as your wrist or the inside of your arm, and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

  • * This product listing is for the orange and cream swirl colored Orange Cream Soap Bar show standing up in the photo.

Meet the Maker

Hello!!

My name is Anne Marie, and my husband is Gary. We live in the small town of Shelton, Washington, at the base of Hood Canal, my favorite place in the world! Together Gary and I have 6 amazing children ages 16-25, and 2 chickens. We love road trips, hiking, camping, and being on the water! We love the great outdoors! We also enjoy simple, holistic, self-sustainable living, and making our own soaps and other face and body products is just one way that we express that lifestyle.

I began my low-waste/zero-waste journey in 2016; and I was vegan from 2017-2021. I now embrace a simple Biblically clean diet as responsibly and respectfully as possible. I love and adore my vegetarian and vegan communities, and I understand how hard it can be to source really great products that adhere the animal friendly guidelines, so the majority of our soaps are vegan. And we never test on animals! (I don't think my chickens would like that!) A few soaps may contain a bit of raw honey from a friend's bee hives, in which case, I will state that information clearly in the product description, so you can make the best decisions for your lifestyle.

More about Heritage Soapbox! We are a multi-generational company that first started in 2013 by my mother, under the name Larsen's Lavender and Bees! In 2019 She retired, and I was given the honor of continuing on. We changed the name to reflect the heart and tradition of my mother's business, and we work hard to keep up her amazing 5 Star reputation!

Fun fact- my first soaping journey began in 2000! I had a small soap business called "Small Inspirations." My logo was a little heart containing my babies' tiny handprints!

I absolutely love the process and art of melting and mixing the oils and butters and pouring and cutting my soaps! Revealing the swirls within, and experiencing the fragrances that float in the air as they cure.... pure bliss! Not to mention the way a freshly cured soap bar feels in your hand when you hold it under the water and build that lather for the first time... I just love it! Yeah, I'm a nerd and a sucker for soap! I hope you'll join me!

Shalom- Peace!

How it’s Made

Our Soap Bars are made by gently heating and melting our oils and butters, and blending them together with Sodium Hydroxide (Lye) to start the saponification process- the making of soap. We then add our fragrance and/or essential oils and colorants and additives when necessary, then pour the soap batter into a loaf shaped mold, swirl the top, and let it cool for up to 24 hours. Then we cut the bars and cure them for 6-8 weeks. After they're cured, we label and wrap them by hand. Our bars typically weigh no less than 4 oz each, but they are made and cut by hand, so sometimes weight variations take place.
