Handmade Process:
- Wheel-thrown from red stoneware clay.
- Slowly dried to the leather-hard stage for trimming and cutting slits.
- Left to fully dry before firing.
- Bisque fired at 1855°F (1013°C) to strengthen the clay for glazing.
- Glazed by hand in speckled white glaze using dipping techniques.
- Glaze fired to vitrification at 2165°F (1185°C), making it durable, watertight, and long-lasting.
Each planter is unique, with slight variations in glaze and form.
