Certified organic Vanilla Complete has a rich, beautiful flavor and aroma of vanilla comes from the seeds contained within the beans of the vanilla orchid. Some benefits range from decreasing anxiety and nervousness to insomnia to an irritable bowel. Its smell is rich and warm and possesses a sweet vanilla aroma. Its major components are Vanillin, Hydroxybenzaldehyde, Acetic Acid, Isobutyric Acid, Caproic Acid, and Eugenol Furfural.

Wild-crafted Wild Carrot Seed is used for a variety of issues such as eczema, mature skin, toxic build-up. Its color is typically a golden yellow with its consistency being thin to medium. Carrot Seed Essential Oil smells earthy, woody and warm. It is considered harsh/unpleasant by some. Its major components are Carotol, a-Pinene, Dauca-4,8-diene, B-Caryophyllene, (E)-Dauc-8-en-4B-ol.

Certified organic Ginger is wonderful root to eat (I cook with it often!) and as an essential oil is wonderful to use. Aromatically, Ginger Essential Oil is spicy and warming. Though it is especially well suited for fall and winter months. Its major constituents are Zingiberene, ar-Curcumene, B-Sesquiphellandrene, B-Bisabolene, Camphene, B-Phellandrene, Borneol, 1,8-Cineole, a-Pinene, and B-Elemene.

Wild-crafted Wild Clove Bud Essential Oil generally contains up to 85% Eugenol, a phenol that dramatically contributes to the oil's aroma, therapeutic properties, and safety precautions. Clove Bud Essential Oil is also comprised of a number of other constituents, particularly the sesquiterpene B-caryophyllene and the ester Eugenyl acetate.

Wild-crafted or certified organic Shea Butter is highly moisturizing, has a smooth, creamy texture. It is a fat extracted from the nut of the African shea tree. Shea butter is composed of five principal fatty acids: palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic, and arachidic. About 85 to 90% of the fatty acid composition is stearic and oleic acids.

Certified Organic Jojoba Oil is actually a wax, and not an oil. Its composition is similar to that of the skin's natural sebum (oil). Its viscosity is medium.

Certified Organic Coconut oil is a highly saturated oil that is traditionally made by extracting the oil from raw coconuts or dried coconut kernels. Coconut oil is rich in medium-chain fatty acids, which are a form of saturated fat. In fact, these medium-chain fatty acids make up about 65% of its total composition. The fatty acids found in coconut oil include: Lauric acid: 49%, Myristic acid: 18%, Caprylic acid: 8%, Palmitic acid: 8%, Capric acid: 7%, Oleic acid: 6%, Linoleic acid: 2%, and Stearic acid: 2%.

Meet the Maker

Hello! My name is Rise Riyo (pronounced like Ree-say Ree-yo). I am a Level 3 NAHA Aromatherapist having studied under the guidance of Andrea Butje, Cindy Black, and Karen Williams of Aromahead Institute. I'm always taking courses to keep my knowledge alive and well. I handcraft made-to-order aromatherapy blends using certified organic and/or wild-crafted essential oils, carrier oils, and butters, and herbs.

SHIPPING:

I use USPS Priority flat rate mail and USPS Ground. USPS takes between 1-3 business days for Priority Small Package and 4-6 for Ground. Your order will depend on the speed of the US post office and the time of the year. Once I drop it off at the post office, it's out of my control especially around holidays. So please plan ahead. Thanks.

ZERO-WASTE ENGAGEMENT:

When it comes to recycling, many of us are already doing our best to be more conscientious when it comes to our purchasing and disposal decisions.

My goal is to practice zero waste engagement as an aromatherapist in my business.

I refuse to buy essential oils from Multi-Level Marketing companies. Instead, I buy certified organic, wild-crafted (harvested) essential oils, carrier oils, butters, and other supplies from small, independent vendors and small farms practicing fair trade within their businesses.
I reduce the amount of waste with packaging materials and buying bio-degradable, sustainable products like bags and natural bamboo wood.
I reuse packaging such as peanuts, bubble wrap, kraft paper and more to wrap your purchased items.
I repurpose any items from my business back into my business such as bottles.
I recycle all allowable items from my business to our city waste management program, including our family's food waste turning it into compost. We also have a small compost pile for our little herbal garden.
