Organic Red Tigrix Body Balm | Self-Care

Organuc Red Tigrix+ Body Balm is my DIY of Red Tiger Balm! Handcrafted with certified organic, wild-crafted essential oils, carrier oils, and butters. Great for topical aromatherapy use on calves, legs, shoulders, neck, back, and arms.

Topical salves and balms are similar such that they can contain essential oils and herbal infusions. But there are also some differences. Salves tend to be oily and have a thin consistency whereas balms tend to be thicker. Salves are normally used for moisturizing the skin and addressing specific issues of the skin whereas balms tend to lock in moisture and act as a barrier against environmental particles and irritants.

Organic Rosemary ct camphor essential oil awakens the senses and sharpens the mind! It’s been used throughout history for concentration, especially when mental performance needs to be sharp and clear. Herbal, woody, and freshly camphor-like is its scent. It is steam distilled from the flowers, leaves, and twigs of plants grown in the Spanish countryside. Rosemary ct camphor contains Camphor, 1,8-Cineole, a-Pinene, Gamma-Terpinene, and Camphene

(Or Organic Spike Lavender share similar properties like the traditional Lavender that most folks love. Spike Lavender Oil smells floral, fresh, sweet and herbaceous. However, it is much more camphorous in aroma. Its major constituents are Linalool, 1,8-Cineole, Camphor, Borneol, and B-Pinene.)

Organically-grown Corn Mint is steam distilled from the leaves of plants (also called wild mint) in the forests of Nepal and India. Its refreshing aroma can awaken the senses, sharpen focus, and spark optimism. Its aroma is fresh and minty. Corn mint contains mostly menthol, neomenthol, menthone, isomenthone, and pulegone.

(Or Organic Eucalyptus radiata has less 1,8 Cineole than Eucalyptus globulus. Eucalyptus radiata has a softer, more pleasant aroma. Aromatically, Eucalyptus radiata is a bit sweeter and fruitier in scent. It's main constituents are Camphor, Verbenone, a-Pinene, 1,8-Cineole, and Bornyl Acetate.)

Organic Cajeput is a relative to Tea Tree essential oil. It is quite campherous but possesses a fresh, uplifting, fruity quality. Cajeput's major constituents are 1,8-Cineole, a-Terpineol, p-Cymene, Terpinolene, Gamma-Terpinene, (+)-Limonene, Linalool, and a-Pinene. Many use it during the winter season by diffusing it aerially.

Resembling Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil in aroma, organic Cassia Bark Essential Oil is sometimes used as an economical substitute within fragrant applications. Its aroma is sharp, spicy, sweet, woodsy, and earthy. Its major components are (E)-Cinnamaldehyde, (Z)-Cinnamaldehyde, (E)-Cinnamyl Acetate, Benzaldehyde, and 2-Phenylethyl acetate.

Wild-crafted Clove Bud Essential Oil generally contains up to 85% Eugenol, a phenol that dramatically contributes to the oil's aroma, therapeutic properties, and safety precautions. Clove Bud Essential Oil is also comprised of a number of other constituents, particularly the sesquiterpene B-caryophyllene and the ester Eugenyl acetate.

Organically-grown Turmeric essential oil has been used in south Asian countries and India for centuries. Turmeric essential oil has a warm, fresh, spicy, somewhat woody aroma with a crisp ginger and sweet orange-like top note that is evocative of the freshly cut root. Its major components are ar-turmerone, beta-citronellol, turmerone I, Terpinolene, Turmerone II, Limonene, Beta-myrcene, alpha-terpineol, and ar-curcumene.

Organic Black Cumin Seed Oil is known by a number of other names including Blackseed Oil. Aromatically, Black Cumin Seed Oil possesses a mild, earthy, woody and slightly spicy/peppery aroma. It contains essential fatty acids: Linolenic Acid (Omega-3): 0.3% and Linoleic Acid (Omega-6): 56%.

Wild-crafted Carnauba wax is a natural, plant-based product that is made from the leaves of the Copernicia prunifera, a Brazilian palm tree. Carnauba consists mostly of aliphatic esters (40 wt%), diesters of 4-hydroxycinnamic acid (21.0 wt%), ω-hydroxycarboxylic acids (13.0 wt%), and fatty alcohols (12 wt%).

Organic Argan is a plant oil produced from the kernels of the argan tree (Argania spinosa L.), which is indigenous to Morocco and southwestern Algeria. Argan oil is primarily comprised of fatty acids and a variety of phenolic compounds. The majority of the fat content of argan oil comes from oleic and linoleic acid. It's rich in vitamin E, or tocopherol, a fat-soluble vitamin that serves as a potent antioxidant to reduce the damaging effects of free radicals. It has a smell a bit like Olive Oil but with a more organic, sour scent or light citrus fruit fragrance.

Organic Hemp seed oil is extracted from seeds of the hemp plant. The hemp plant’s THC concentration does not exceed 0.3%. Its major components are three polyunsaturated fatty acids: linoleic acid, alpha-linolenic acid, and gamma-linolenic acid. Its ratio of omega-6 (linoleic acid) to omega-3 (alpha-linolenic acid) fatty acids is 3:1.

Organic Castor oil is a multipurpose, thick vegetable oil that people have used for thousands of years. It’s made by extracting oil from the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant. It is cold-pressed and hexane-free. Castor oil has been used as a moisturizer, great for freeing up constipation, and cleaning dentures. Many have used it for hair growth and scalp issues.

Organic Evening Primrose is a prized oil in skin care for its noteworthy essential fatty acid content, consisting primarily of the omega-6 essential fatty acids linolenic acid and gamma linolenic acid. It has an aroma that is light and sweet.

Organic Arnica contains compounds like sesquiterpene lactones. It has been used for centuries as a dilutable base for many essential oils in order to be carried onto the skin.

Organic Calendula is an annual plant that thrives in almost any soil but can typically be found in Europe, Western Asia, and the United States. It belongs to the same family as daisies, chrysanthemums, and ragweed. Calendula has high amounts of flavonoids, plant-based antioxidants that protect cells from being damaged by unstable molecules called free radicals.

Wild-crafted St. John's Wort has two chemicals that play a major role in how it works. These are hypericin and hyperforin. It also contains flavonoids

Wild-crafted Kpangnan Butter's aroma is mild, nutty, and smoky (similar to a blend of cocoa and shea butter). More deeply moisturizing than shea butter, kpangnan also has a warming effect, and its high stigmasterol content makes it popular for joint and muscle butters.

Organic Hemp Butter is uniquely nutrient-dense. It is high in metabolism-boosting thiamine, collagen-building copper, manganese for calcium absorption, phosphorus for strong bones, and zinc for immune health. It's also a good source of niacin, iron, fiber, and easily digestible protein. As much protein as peanut butter, in fact, including all nine essential amino acids.
