Media used is a combo of alcohol ink pens, watercolor pens, archival ink pens, washi tape, gold metallic leafing pen.

Meet the Maker
Hello!! Glad you are here ☺️ By day I am a graphic designer/supervisor of a design team for the local university and my therapy is when I can use my hands and make stuff. I kind of don't stick to one thing - I go where the inspo is...could be pattern, could be color, could be quirky (probably my fav) or good 'ol mood. In my daily life are two teenagers, a french bulldog who thinks he rules and a rescued cat who tolerates us all.

How it’s Made
Many times when the whim strikes I will draw/paint on any random surface - could be paper scraps from past projects, watercolor/mixed media paper or upcycled cardboard pieces from packages. In this case I painted on a piece of pink craft paper that was left over from another project.
The artwork is decoupaged onto thick artist paper, as is the back piece of paper (which is usually selected from my stash of art papers I collect). This layering process makes for a thicker, strong bookmark. Edges are finished with an oil based gold metallic leafing pen. Also on this is a hand cut vase made from a collaged washi tape project I was working on.
While very sturdy please be mindful it is still paper xo
