About this Product
I like to start a painting on a background of various paint strokes, gelli prints, maybe some splatter. Starting this way usually gives me some ideas about what she wants to be. Sometimes I decide before starting what I would like to see. I will sometimes use stencils or painted papers and stamps. Most of it is painted.
Then I use a hi Quality varnish to protect the surface. The paints I use are prof. grade and the manufacturers say the colors will last more than a 100 yrs.
I would suggest not hanging it in direct sunshine anyway. I also think it's a good idea to cut a piece of paper to this size, 18x24, to be sure it will fit in your space.

Meet the Maker
Sue is an artist living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of SW Virginia, Salem to be exact. She has painted most of her life and hopes to be painting when she passes. She has dabbled in all the mediums and currently enjoys collage. Preferring to stay indoors, since the heat has gotten so bad, in the autumn or spring she still enjoys plein aire painting.
How it’s Made
I only use professional grade, archival paints and quality papers. They are always encased in a layer of Hi Quality varnish so you need not worry about them being light fast.
It is wired and ready to hang. I can wrap with pretty gift wrap and include a hand made card with your sentiments and mail straight to your recipient if you to send a gift or just want to surprise someone.
