About this Product
"Ouroboros" art print is created from an original painting done in the summer of 2024 on a 9 x 11 inch paper using watercolor paints. It explores the themes of eternity, cycles, life, and temporality. Sometimes the most fleeting moments are etched into the memory for the duration of life. Such as an encounter with beauty. The observer is invited to reflect on what they find beautiful in life, and in which ways such encounters changed them.
The art print is done on a gloss photo paper and inserted into a 5 x 7 inch black frame card. The size of the image within the frame is approximately 3.5 x 5.5 inches. The title of the work is handwritten in the lower right corner of the frame using a white gel pen. A black envelope is included.

Meet the Maker
Hi! My name is Anastasiya. My spiritual awakening (or, an existential crisis :)) began a few years ago, when I decided I want to change my life and pursue endeavors which are personally meaningful and bring me joy. Art and poetry are two ways I express myself. Whereas my poems are usually born when I'm out walking around my beautiful town upstate New York, my artworks first begin with an idea. The ideas themselves are inspired mostly by the literature I read. Once the idea is conceived, I begin sketching. That's one of my most favorite parts of the whole process, because that's when the real magic happens. The idea evolves during the sketching process, and I just go along with whatever wants to emerge. Most often, the finished sketch differs significantly from the original idea! Then I paint the sketch in my home studio using watercolors. Because I am a self-taught artist, I am always working on improving my technique! I love watching other artists paint on YouTube and sometimes follow along and practice different painting techniques. I hope you enjoy my artworks. Feedback and comments are always welcome!
