Meet the Maker
I create durable one of a kind crocheted rag rugs by up-cycling clean vintage fabrics that may be machine washed. Rag rugs are my creative passion. I take the time to do my very best work with each and every one, paying close attention to detail because I like all transactions to be honest and fair whether I am buying or selling. Trying to do my small part in not adding more fabrics to our earths landfills and oceans. I work with 100% reclaimed, recycle cotton/poly blend fabrics that are available to me in my area of southern Missouri. This is one of the creative skills that has been passed down from generation to generation.
How it’s Made
Made by me in southern Missouri. Using 100% cleaned cotton poly blend recycled fabrics.
I scout for selective vintage fabrics to create this durable rustic, country crocheted rag rug.
Hot washed and dried fabric are then hand cut with scissors into strips that are machine sewn end to end and across again for added durability. Then I hand fold and roll into balls. Hand crocheted with my mothers old well worn hand carved wooden.
I enjoy the challenge of working with recyclable used fabrics to keep a few less textile waste out of our earths water and landfills. Your purchase of a handmade rug keep me recycling otherwise wasted fabrics.

Returns are accepted at buyer shipping expense, rug must be in clean undamaged condition as it was received. Please contact me before returning as I wish my customers to be happy with the products that I create.
