About this Product
This tutorial goes into detail on the process I use for painting my style of painted furniture. It cover everything from finding furniture, the initial prep work, the painting process to the final clear coat. This is information that I've spent years refining and will save you many hours of mistakes and heartache. This includes the names of the products I use as well as links to my suppliers and the techniques that I use. Videos too!
This does not cover using chalk paint. As you can see from my work, I'm not a chalk paint user- far from it! This tutorial also does not cover any of my other products- It only covers painting furniture.
I should note, the products I use are available in the United States. I'm not sure of their availability in other countries. I can make suggestions as to what qualities to look for if you can't find the specific products where you live. Talk to me- I'm here to help!

Meet the Maker
I paint fun, colorful furniture and accessories. I welcome custom requests! Most of the furniture pieces you see pictured were custom pieces and are shown as a portfolio piece. While I don't ever do two pieces exactly alike, I can do something similar. Prices vary depending on the initial cost of the blank piece, the size and surface area to be covered and the detail of the painting. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

ATTENTION! Your patience is requested. My husband recently suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and I am now his full time caregiver. While he is recovering, he does need quite a bit of my attention, therefore my studio time is limited. I have adjusted my shipping time frames accordingly. I am not taking custom furniture orders at this time, but am willing to add you to a waiting list, which may be a year+ long. Message me if you have any questions. Thanks again for your patience.

Shop Policies
Payment is due before the piece will be shipped. (well, that makes sense...)
If the listing is for a "Deposit" on a custom order, progress will not begin until the deposit payment has been made. (pretty self-explanatory, don't you think)
Due to limited space in my studio I cannot 'store' unpaid pieces. If payment is not received for the deposit or a completed custom order within 30 days of notification of the "Deposit Listing, or the "Final Payment Listing", I will assume that the project or piece has been abandoned. Unless prior arrangements have been made, I will dispose, donate, or sell the piece at my discretion. No refunds will be given for payments already made unless by prior agreement. (Don't leave me hanging!)
Custom orders cannot be cancelled once painting has started. Color and design changes should be brought to my attention at the time of the first "update" report. (I'll keep you posted on progress! Don't worry!)
I generally have a waiting list for custom work. Please contact me to see how long the wait is and how to reserve your place in my queue. Please be patient with me as I am a one woman shop, I'm working as fast as I can and still keep up the quality of work that I demand of myself. I don't work well under pressure.
