This tile magnet is collaged by hand to bring a unique design to your refrigerator or craft board.
- This sturdy ceramic tile measures at 2.25" x 2.25"
- It is fitted with two ceramic disc magnets that are 19.05mm x 4.75mm. The size and combination have strong magnetic pull.
- I complete each piece with a sealed layer of mod podge to protect the surface and add shine. Please allow for the possibility of small air bubbles in the sealant.

Meet the Maker
Welcome! My name is Caitlin, though you can call me Lin.
Here at my store, you will find uniquely crafted magnets, each one a small work of art created with care. My love for upcycling led me to explore working with tiles as a base for collage art. All images are hand cut and sourced from books and magazines. I studied drawing and painting at Maine College of Art & Design, where I earned my BFA in 2008. The process of creating large mixed media paintings led me to seek out a way to create smaller, more affordable, and functional art pieces. I incorporate both mod podge and textiles from my paintings with a personal collage style that gives each magnet its own distinct character.
I draw inspiration from nature, science, and the charming qualities of life in Rhode Island. My favorite sources for images include books on dinosaurs, art history, and astronomy, as well as magazines like National Geographic and Autumn issues of Home Living (I’m a sucker for spooky aesthetic!)
When I'm not creating art, you can find me hula hooping, there are no bounds to the new tricks and combinations to be learned-or spending time with my husband, Alex, and our two adorable cats, Merlin and Toes. I also love wandering through the historic streets of Providence, getting lost in the beauty of its architecture. Thank you so much for visiting my store! How it’s Made
I begin by searching through my collection of recycled magazines, and the occasional book. After finding images that work together, I mod podge them onto kitchen tile to create an original design. Each magnet generally has five to eight cut out images, but the range can be anywhere from three to thirty.
