Meet the Maker
As an artist, I believe education should be an important part of everyone’s journey, whether through a traditional university, or in my case, through live studio workshops and on-line courses. I study art daily to hone my skills and create paintings that are realistic and aesthetically pleasing without limiting my work to one medium or concept, as inspiration and ideas are ever-changing. My resulting works are influenced by experiences and little wisdoms gained along the way.
Each of my paintings captures something tangible that has spoken to me through the beauty of everyday life: people, places, spaces, flowers and landscapes - and I imbue my work with those fragments of myself I wish to share with the world. I long to build an art practice that encompasses this passion, and create art that is authentic, enchanting and sublime, fulfilling my dream of sharing these found parts of myself with others.

This painting made with gouache on paper of four Cape May Salt Oysters is a composition with shells of purples and golds complemented by the vibrant green background. I wanted to convey the simple beauty of these shells that often get overlooked.
