About this Product
"Dama Muerte" is a luxurious patchwork fairy coat is built from my personal collection of yardage and trim, includes denim, cotton blends, acetate, velvet, and other synthetics. It has a long fairyhood with drawstring closure, and deep front facing pockets as well as a small hidden pocket. It zips up the front and has a waist cinch tie which gives the garment quite a bit of play. There is a sequined "Day of the Dead Queen" patch (from Mexico City!) on the back, as well as my own handmade angelina fiber applique. These special details give the fairycoat subtle sparkles and bling! All my clothing is one of a kind. My items come from a home free of smoke and pets. Yardage is pre-washed. Garments are sturdy and clean.

How it’s Made
All my garments are made by me in my home. I use yardage from my personal collection as well as many up-cycled sources including curtains, table clothes, vintage clothing, upholstery, blankets, scarves, etc. I've been sewing for more than 35 years and my inspiration comes from a deep love for costumery, fairies, elves, bohemians, festivals of all kinds, fantasy books and whimsical movies. Each piece is a unique emanation of my creativity. And, I LOVE pockets which is why every coat has at least one set of pockets, some have two sets, some even have three sets of pockets, and a few fairycoats have hidden pockets!
