About this Product
"Sorbet Sunset" is a luxurious patchwork fairy coat is built from my personal collection of yardage and trim, includes denim, cotton blends, acetate, velvet upholstery, and other synthetics. It has a long fairyhood with drawstring closure, two deep, inset pockets and two unattached, pointed, hand pockets. It zips up the front and has a waist cinch tie which gives the garment quite a bit of play. All my clothing is one of a kind. My items come from a home free of smoke and pets. Yardage is pre-washed. Garments are sturdy and clean - worn only for photos.

How it’s Made
All my garments are made by me in my home. I use yardage from my personal collection as well as many up-cycled sources including curtains, table clothes, vintage clothing, upholstery, blankets, scarves, etc. I've been sewing for more than 35 years and my inspiration comes from a deep love for costumery, fairies, elves, bohemians, festivals of all kinds, fantasy books and whimsical movies. Each piece is a unique emanation of my creativity. And, I LOVE pockets which is why every coat has at least one set of pockets, some have two sets, some even have three sets of pockets, and a few fairycoats have hidden pockets!
