Today, I'm adding a beautiful patriotic wall or table quilt to my store. This quilt measures approximately 31" square.
Did you notice that this quilt is comprised of stars? There are four stars and when they come together they make an interesting 1/2 square pattern.
When you look at this quilt, you will notice true red, a variety of blues along with white, cream and tan fabrics. The inner border is a beautiful marbled golden yellow. I think it makes all the red, white and blue sing. They just pop. The final border is a wonderful paisley that is patriotic all on its own. All of these fabrics are 100% quilt shop cotton.
The batting is organic cotton. I love the way it feels and it gives this quilt a wonderful drape.
This quilt is quilted with an off white Egyptian cotton thread. The body of the quilt is quilted with a chevron design and the paisley border is done with feather waves.
The backing fabric is a perfect golden tan floral.
I chose to bind this quilt with a navy mini paisley print. My bindings are doubled and stitched to the front by machine. I then stitch them to the back by hand with a french fold technique. I believe that this type of binding gives the quilt longevity. It allows the quilt to keep its shape even after numerous wash and dry cycles.
YES! This quilt can be machine washed and dried. All you need to do is use cool/cold water and a warm, not hot dryer. When it comes out it will be slightly puckered just like the antique quilts that everyone enjoys.
I create quilts that will become family heirlooms. Each quilt comes to its forever home signed and dated.
And all that's left is where are you going to showcase this gem. In my house, it would be used as a table cover. Just like in the picture, I would fill a jar with flowers and surround it with candles. This quilt would look wonderful hanging on the wall in your entryway. You can show your American pride.

- If there is a need to return your purchase, again, you must contact me first.
- Returns must be made within 10 days and in original condition.
- All return postage is paid by the customer and must be sent priority mail with signature.
- Your refund will only be for the price of the item, postage is not refundable.
- Refunds will not be made until the quilted items are back to me, in said original condition.
