How it’s Made
This rainbow bridge is made of six 12-inch long by half-inch wide strips of colored transparent US-made Bullseye® glass topped with a layer of clear glass. A paw print appears at one end of the bridge. This is the large size bridge with a length of 9.25". The first kiln firing fuses the glass together at 1490 degrees Fahrenheit into a flat bar that is 6 mm thick. A final kiln firing at a 1200 degrees drapes the glass over a ceramic mold into the arch shape. Once cooled, the base is diamond-ground so that it sits squarely.
