This 8 page PDF pattern contains directions, notes, and photos for creating your very own Frankenstein Trick-Or-Treat Bag! It is written in English using US crochet terms.
Materials needed to get this look: acrylic worsted weight yarn in whatever colors you like, size 5.5mm hook, size 3.75mm hook, yarn needle, stitch markers. You can use any hook size or yarn size you prefer, but the finished product will be bigger/smaller based on what you choose. My bag ended up about 6 inches tall and about 6 inches across the opening. Switch up the colors to customize this bag however you like!
Skill level: easy. Basic stitches are used and are mostly half double crochet and single crochet. It would be easier to follow this pattern if you already know how to do a moss stitch and spike stitch. Moss stitch makes up the bulk of the bag.

From Necessity to Passion
My grandmother taught me to crochet back in 2000. Back then, I didn't have the patience for the calm, repetitive work that crochet is. Now that calm repetitive work is therapeutic to me and I love getting to see the cool things I can create with my hands.
I dove deeper into crochet in 2016 when I was short on money and still wanted to present my family and friends with gifts. I broke out the yarn and got on Youtube to find so many cute and beginner-friendly tutorials to follow. Now I love to crochet purses, clothing, and accessories, but my specialty is critters. I enjoy bringing an item to life stitch by stitch. Now I even design my own critters-with a Florida flare.
