Details:
Truly Unique! One of a kind stained glass Peace Sign with Wind Chimes, assorted glass beads. This stained glass wind chime Peace suncatcher is Made-to-Order; it arrives ready to add color, movement, and a pleasing sound to a sunny spot! The glass used to create this beautiful Peace Sign shows absolutely gorgeous colors when hung in a sunny location. Browse the photos to see how the colors appear much more vibrant with the sun shining through! Shown indoors and out, with light shining from behind and in front. Notice how the purples change with the blue sky shining through the glass.
Peace sign shown is a Purple and in Blue Stained Glass. Chimes vary in length and pick up on the colors in the peace sign and glass bead embellishments! Colors may appear slightly different on screen. Some colors may have a slightly different texture or smooth with no texture.
The Peace Sign itself is 6-7 inches in diameter; chimes are random lengths ranging from 4-7 inches long. In total it hangs approximately 22-26 inches, and will create a pleasantly delicate twinkling sound in the breeze.
These wind chimes are not loud and will not disturb your neighbors. I have made a few of these and similar designs for our own home, that have held up well for 10+ years, however I do recommend bringing them in or placing in a secure location under harsh weather conditions.
I create these using the Tiffany, copper foil method. The glass is carefully chosen and cut to pattern, then the edges are ground down, cleaned, and wrapped in copper foil. The flux is applied to the foil and I used my heated soldering iron to melt and apply the metal that holds everything together. I finish it by carefully wiping all surfaces, applying wax, then buffing all pieces until they are sparkling clean!
I take great care in creating pieces that I love to design, and my goal is that you will be happy to own, display, and use them in your home or office. I carefully package them so they will arrive looking the same as when they left my shop.

Meet the Maker
I've been a Stained Glass Artist for 2 decades now, and I put a lot of love into everything I make!
A little about me:
It all began with a dream...
I'd always loved the way light interacts with stained glass, and dreamed of learning how to make pieces of my own. I had the opportunity to take a class when I was attending Cal State University, Fullerton, where I learned the basics of cutting, grinding, and using lead came to create some simple windows. Working with stained glass was now in my blood and I taught myself the Copper Foil Method of Construction by reading books. Copper foil construction allows me to create a wide range of pieces in both 2 and 3 dimensions. These include hanging sun catchers, business card holders and more for your office, candle holders, vases, hanging mobiles, and much more! While I do have many popular designs that I have sold for many years, I love to create completely unique pieces as well! I've been creating unique stained glass pieces for 2 decades and am thrilled to do custom orders; special color combinations or sizes to suit your needs. I've been approached to create completely new designs or sizes: for instance a large company asked me to created a bigger version of one of my business card holders to accommodate special cards; they ordered 43 of these in 2 color schemes to give as gifts to their employees! Another example: I once made almost 100 Peace signs for a customer who purchased them as special commemorative gifts at a memorial.
Custom orders begin with a need and an idea; together we can communicate to create a color scheme, pattern, size, and design to suit your specific needs.
I'm happy to include as much or as little of your input as you are comfortable with: I've found that some people want to give me some information and have me run with it, while others like to be very involved in all aspects of planning. It helps the process run more quickly if you'd like to browse through my shop and find colors and types of glass that you are drawn to.
My goal is to make pieces that are artistic, useful, very well made items that you are proud to own and display in your home, office or outdoor space! I sell many pieces that I can send directly to a gift recipient: Please include the correct shipping address at checkout and let me know what I can write on a note card. (Example: "Happy birthday Whitney! Love from your brother Nate"). I will have a gift-wrap option available at a nominal charge! I use a gift box to package the items; beautifully gift wrap with a selection of wrapping paper and add a pretty bow to finish it off; this package then goes into a larger, sturdy shipping box surrounded by bubble wrap to ensure safe delivery.
I'm very careful with my packaging, using sturdy boxes and plenty of bubble wrap so your special purchase arrives in the same condition it left my workshop.
Shop Policies
Welcome and thank you for visiting my shop!
Processing times:
In Stock items ship in as little as 1 or up to a few days. Many of my items are made to order, allowing you to choose your specific color choice or design. I do work on orders by the date received, so that the earliest orders can ship the soonest. Processing times are dependent on the item and the number of items ordered, and how many orders I currently have in my queue: normally it takes me between 2 and 10 days to complete a made-to-order item and get it to the Post Office. This doesn't include the actual time spent in transit. Please feel free to contact me if you have a specific timeline, if it is a gift for instance. I can give you a good idea of when I can complete your order! Like any online seller, I can't promise how long the post office will take to get it to you. However, in the 1000's of packages I've shipped over the years there have only been a handful of real issues with the delivery time.
Cancellations or Returns:
Please save your packaging materials.
I understand that at times you may need to change your mind and I am happy to work it out with you to the best of my ability.
To Cancel, please let me know within the first 24 hours and I can refund in full. Anytime after that, check in to inquire about options: If I haven't purchased material or started cutting the glass, I can happily refund in full. If I Have started, I will refund 50-70% of the total depending on how far along I am with the order. Custom orders however, are final.
Returns: Custom orders and sale items are final; No returns accepted! Anything else please contact me within 7 days for instructions. Give me a brief description of the reason for wanting to return the item. Using the packaging materials used in my shipping to you, please very carefully wrap each piece. If it's a card holder or other 3 dimensional piece, fill the inside with bubble wrap and surround it with more. You want to box to be full but not super tightly packed. It should not move around but should have just a little give. Try to keep the same amount of bubble wrap around each side of the glass (example, and inch above, below, and on the sides). If I receive your purchase back in the same unused condition as it left my shop I will refund minus the shipping costs. Customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways.
I appreciate your business!
