About this Product
This material was pulled from a burn pile at a northern California Orchard. Some critters had made their way threw it at some point. They left a sign of life and a cool worm hole esthetic. Nature is amazing! The glass tube is removable so that you can fill with water and arrange flowers. Wipe the glass tube dry and place back in the mini vase. The bottom of the vase is coated with a cork layer for protecting the surface you place it on and the vase. size 5.25h"x 2.5"w

How it’s Made
I try to make mini vases out of branches to small for other projects. These branches are selected for their grain stability. When making vases I prefer the twice turned method. This means that I turn the wood green and then dry it for up to a year. during that time the grain will relax and then I will turn it again and apply finish. Wood is an Organic material that is constantly moving. This process means that the vase will be more stable and hold its shape better. All of my vases are coated with food safe linseed oil and bees wax that gives the perfect protection if a few drops of water were to get on it.
