Hi New Friend of mine

My name is Norma a wife, grandmother, sister, mom, daughter and a positive loving spontaneous, caring grateful person. Retired early from a University of California, love crafting learning, reading and well lounging when and how long is my choice lol. seriously I worked since 1978 as a teen. Nevertheless, if you knew me, I am a talker but here goes my profile.

Leather crafting is one of my passions I learned on my own and work at home, inspired by the native American classic medicine pouch. A few years ago, possibly 6 years it jcame to my mind one day after browsing for a phone case on line I decided well why not make one myself I had some experience from High school art class I decide to go into my handbag collection okay this one is ugly I could go buy the leather but why it's right here.this handbag was nice but odd shaped and large but not nice looking green avocado color, I took it apart and this was my first time experiencing what it's like to work with leather... the possibilities and challenges made me excited. It a love thing...and so years later I have explored with leather and used many scrap pieces learning the leathercraft man strategies... for days and hours it's okay I love it I well play with it trying to make a pattern piece fit my scrap piece. My leather crafts are handmade I use no machines whatsoever... I cutout my patterns with scissors sometimes a fine blade knife but I hesitate to challenge that sharp knife, outline the holes, punch, snip sew and design them into a little Trendy leather pouch at times I love to incorporate genuine vintage pearls to give them a chicness trend and that's why they are very unique, and I only make one of each... Drawstring Leather pouches are cool and handsfree, boho, concertgoer, hippy chick rocker style made to be worn again and they are made to last many years seriously many years just from experience.
