Meet the Maker
Hi, I'm hilde the artist behind hilde’s Whimsical Art. On my site you will find my most recent object art and prints.
My designs are a joyful expression of my love for nature and people’s quirks.
I enjoy taking on the challenge of each new object that I paint.
When I create, sometimes I try to copy a piece that I am particularly proud of….
It never works, each piece is truly unique and here for you to enloy.
I went to art school in Belgium and have lived in the US for over 35 years.
How it’s Made
I use illustration paper, black pencil, sometimes a marker to draw the illustration. The next step is to color the image and seal the color pencil.
Then I scaned the image into my pc.
I have this Calendar professionall printed and bound together
