The Breakaway Lanyard is a multifunctional lanyard that can be used as a teacher lanyard, nurse lanyard, or work lanyard. It's designed with a breakaway clip that ensures safety in case of any accidental pulling or snagging, making it ideal for use in busy environments. In additional to the ability to break away for safety, it also comes with a removable clip buckle to allow for easy detachment of keys, name badges, badge reels, or any other item you are trying to keep at hand.
The lanyard comes in 2 widths 3/4" or 1" wide and comes in several lengths from 18" to 24". The length is measured from the back of the neck to the end of the swivel drop. It's finished with a swivel clasp that can be hooked onto any item to keep it secure.
The Breakaway Safety Lanyard is beautifully made from a linen/cotton blend fabric, ensuring durability and longevity. The length measures from the break-away buckle to the end of the swivel clasp, and the length might vary about 1/2".

Hello, I am Sheri, a proud mother of five and a resident of Riverside, California. My journey into the realm of sewing began at the tender age of twelve. Mentored by my mother, I nurtured my sewing skills and cultivated a profound passion for this enriching art form. What started as a beloved hobby soon became an avenue for expressing creativity and deriving immense joy.
Following the successful sale of my software business in 2015, I bid farewell to the world of technology to tread on a path that led back to my first love—sewing. Capitalizing on my extensive skills and experience, I launched my own online shop that same year, offering exclusive, handcrafted items, each reflecting love and meticulous attention to detail.
How it’s Made
Each lanyard is made to order. The Embroidered personalization is completed before the lanyard is constructed so that the raw backing of the embroidery is hidden within the construction.

Returns and exchanges & cancellations
I accept cancellations on orders only if the item has not been shipped and if it’s a personalized item that has not yet been made.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
- Custom or personalized orders
- Perishable products (like food or flowers)
- Digital downloads
- Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
- Face Masks
- Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
Customer satisfaction is very important to me. If you are not satisfied with your order for any reason, please contact me right away. I will be more than happy with work with you. Refunds are considered if I am contacted within 3 days of receiving your item. There are no refunds for personalized items and no cancellation of personalized or customized orders once they are made. Often an item is put into production the day of order so it can't be cancelled. Contact me right away and see if you are eligible to cancel. Face masks are not returnable or refundable due to health/hygiene reasons. If a refund is granted, I will refund the full price of the item after they are shipped back and inspected. Items that are missing tags, dirty, stained or have been laundered will not receive a refund. I also do not refund any shipping costs.
Payment
Items will be made after they are completely paid for and all necessary information has been received (personalization details, size, color, etc.).
Shipping
If you are ordering multiple items, the ETSY shipping calculator might double or triple (depending on items ordered) your shipping costs. I will always combine shipping and refund you the difference once the item has shipped. If you have questions regarding this, please send me a message. Always check my Shop Announcement (found on shop home page) for my current turnaround times. For items that are custom made, additional time may be needed to complete your order. If you need any item by a specific date, please contact me in advance to see if I can accommodate your need by date. All items will be shipped by USPS - Once an order leaves my hands at the post office, it is totally out of my control. I always ship in enough time to get to you by the date we agree on, but sometimes USPS takes longer than expected. First Class and Priority shipping are not guaranteed by the USPS; therefore, I cannot guarantee it will arrives on time. Please add this time to the current turnaround time. When ordering, please include all details/information during checkout so that your order will not be delayed. All items are custom made and are not started until we have all of the information. If you need an item rushed, please contact me in advance to see if I can accommodate the date of your special event/need by date. PLEASE be sure the address listed on your order is the correct mailing address because that is the address I will ship to. If order comes back to me, you will have to pay for additional shipping for it to reship to the correct address. I am not responsible for shipping addresses that are incorrect.
Additional policies and FAQs
Items that require a monogram, personalization, or other customization, will not be created until all information is provided to me so that I can complete the order. You can provide monogram, personalization or other customization details during checkout, via a message to me through Etsy or via email at sheri@nanistyles.com. Please reference your order number in your message or email. In cases where I have not received the info, I will try to contact the buyer to let them know what information I need to complete the order. If I do not receive the required details to complete an order within 1 week, the said order will be canceled, and a full refund will be processed.
