Meet the Maker
My name is Bekki and I am the owner of Dragon Hearth Designs. I am a mom of 4 boys and a wife of 29 years to a retired veteran. I love all types of crafting and creating. I was a day care provider and then preschool teacher for many years. I turned to my love of crafts during the pandemic. Because I am now a stay at home homeschool momma to my youngest son, I wanted to find a way to make money while staying home. So I purchased a laser machine and have been learning and creating ever since!
Shop Policies
All items are handcrafted by me, but I use a variety of different designers' files on my laser. When I can, I will credit those designers. I do not claim to own the rights to any of these design files. I only purchase files that come with commercial use permission.
Unless otherwise stated, all items are sold as shown. Some of my items may be customized, and will be labeled properly. If it does not have a customize label, it cannot be changed. Also, some of my items will be one of a kind, due to some of the unique pieces of wood I use. These items will be labeled as such, and once they are gone, they cannot be restocked.
My items are handmade in my home, and I am not a professional. There are sometimes imperfections in the wood that are beyond my control; there are sometimes burns and nicks, due to machine error; there are sometimes minor flaws in the painting or sanding. Often times these imperfections give the piece character, and I will not knowingly sell any items that have integrity issues due to these imperfections. If you have any concerns, please reach out to me before you purchase. Purchasing an item from my shop means you understand that the item is handmade and not perfect, and may sometimes have imperfections such as those listed here. Purchasing an item from my shop also means you understand that all sales are final, and only those where I truly messed up will be refunded (for example, I spelled a name wrong, or painted the wrong color on a custom order).
Please allow up to 2 weeks for processing times. Many items are made on demand and require time to create. Thank you.
Care instructions: Most of my earrings have stainless steel findings, which can be wiped clean with a baby wipe or damp cloth. All other types of findings can be wiped clean with a dry cloth. All items made of wood should avoid contact with water. While many of the items are sealed, there is no guarantee that water will not damage it. Store items properly inside and away from moisture. Acrylic items can get wet, but it is not recommended. Extreme exposure to sun will cause items to fade. Patternply Acrylic can naturally chip over time, please use with care. Please be careful when handling intricate items. They are fragile and delicate, and require a soft touch. Keep in mind, items that have been mishandled and misused will NOT be replaced.
