Note on wood products: The customers I have made friends with here on this platform are amazing! However, there are a few who are disappointed from time to time in an order that they receive. They say it "doesn't look exactly like the picture". Well, I only make my products using the highest grade birch available. However, this type of wood is made in a factory and many factors come into play that can make an item look a little different from the product listing. First, you can expect that you will see some of the wood grain. This is NOT a defect, it is a feature. It is part of what makes these items unique. Sometimes a small piece of the picture might be darker than others. This is due to many factors, including the sap content of the tree, the amount of glue used at the factory, how much or how little the factory dried the wood prior to cutting it and shipping it to me, and a hundred other variables besides those I have mentioned. Also, even though I seal everything that I sell that is wood, WOOD CAN AND DOES WARP. If you live in a climate with wild humidity fluctuations throughout the year, expect some warping to occur.
