Each notebook is individually hand engraved to your specifications. On the darker area, the engraving will be shallower and turn out a light color. In the lighter area it will be darker and deeper. The transitional area of the notebook will yield less visible results, as we have to pick one or the other engraving color.
Upon ordering, provide your logo (Needs to be black and white. Too much small detail will result in a poorer engraved outcome due to the nature of laser engraving on organic material) and your custom text.

Mike - Full time digital forensics detective, part time laser engraver/crafter. I am working to build a business that will let me retire from my current work. I've seen enough for a few lifetimes. :-)
Shana - Mom, Teacher, Friend, and much more is the creative eye of the outfit.
The Kids - These guys help out at varying levels, but they range from 30 years old down to 10 (2024). They are the trend knowers, truth-speakers, and reason for doing. The older ones have lives of their own, but are still more in touch with what their peers might need, like, and want!
There's also one dog, three horses, two cats, and a long eared donkey in the mix.
How it’s Made
I use high quality blanks and top notch NFC tags for these items. I also use two different types of laser to do the engraving, depending on where on the item you would like your text.

2. Artwork Specifications
We accept various file formats for your custom artwork, including .jpg, .png, .svg, and .pdf.
For optimal engraving quality, we recommend using high-resolution files (at least 300 dpi).
Our website will provide an upload option where you can submit your artwork during the checkout process.
3. Scannable Element Functionality
Blue Line Scannables offers two main scannable element options: QR codes and NFC tags.
QR codes are square-shaped barcodes readable by most smartphone cameras. Once scanned, they can direct users to a website, social media profile, or any other web address.
NFC tags are small chips that can store data. When scanned with an NFC-enabled smartphone, they can trigger various actions, such as opening a web page, sharing contact information, or displaying a text message.
We are not responsible for the functionality of websites or applications linked to your chosen scannable element.
4. Warranty and Returns
We stand behind the quality of our products and offer a replacement guarantee for any items with defects in engraving or material. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to initiate a warranty claim.
Due to the personalized nature of our products, we cannot accept returns for non-defective items.
